Dr. Joanne Wu is an accomplished physician leader specializing in integrative and functional rehabilitation. In addition, as a certified holistic health coach, as well as an experienced registered yoga and fitness teacher, she is dedicated to sustainable personal, community and corporate well-being. With a forward-thinking approach as a strategic innovator, she is passionate about novel health ideas, programs, and digital health solutions to better shape the future of health.
Dr. Wu has completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester. She continued her education with her medical degree and her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by an MBA from Capella University. To deepen her commitment to integrative whole health, she has also furthered her acumen with obtaining board certification in Integrative and Holistic Medicine, a certificate for medical acupuncture from Harvard Medical School, and is regularly undergoing additional training in areas of preventative, functional and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Wu collaborates closely with patients to craft personalized treatment strategies. She finds immense fulfillment in helping individuals enhance their health and wellness while forging authentic and solid relationships with her patients and with her community. She is an active Advisory Board member and member of Board of Directors in various esteemed organizations, as well as a contributing member of Chief, the only private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders. In her spare time, she is an avid traveler who loves to explore the world and learn about other foods and cultures while spending cherished moments with family and friends.
